Stephani Victor is a courageous young woman who was hit by an out of control automobile while she standing on the sidewalk in Los Angeles, CA.  The effect were so extensive that the removal of both her legs was necessary to save her life. She has turned this bad event into a story of personal triumph and accomplishment--defying the odds by learning to walk again when many doctors told her she never would. Recently, Stephani has gone on to become a world class mono-skier (a mono-ski is essentially a sitting ski where the user has mini-skies on the ends of their poles) and in 2006 won an Olympic Gold Medal in this global competition.
